UPDATE 1/7/19

Sunday 4th August 2019 sees the second Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 as part of the Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling.

Two directors at Telecoms World, Neil Barrall and Sam Diamond, who are keen cyclists will be participating in the event to raise money for Bloodwise; a charity which funds world-class research into all types of blood cancer and who have made great progress with cancer medicine advances.

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in central London.

Blood cancer is the third biggest cancer killer and it’s growing – it takes more lives every year than prostate or breast cancer. Blood cancer can affect people of any age, gender or race, and it’s the most common cancer in children and young adults.

In memory and support of many people close to our hearts who have encountered this terrible disease, staff at Telecoms World will been supporting Neil and Sam in their hopes of raising at least £500 each for the charity.

Neil and Sam are, veteran cyclists and have already raised a fantastic amount of money for various charities in cycling events, including this event the past 2 years. They are aiming to beat last years time of 6.5hrs to complete the course.

There's nothing quite like a picture-perfect cycle taking in the sights and enjoying the city, all for a good cause. We wish them the best of luck and hope they have a great time whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.
