We have found a true partner with Word Tech, their service saves our company £1000's by reducing IT and Telecoms risks
The Calzedonia Group now numbers approximately 32,000 employees worldwide, about 3,000 of which are based in Italy. Calzedonia stands out for its verticalized structure: the ideation, production and distribution of every single product is handled either directly or through affiliates. The Group also distinguishes itself through its advertising, with major media campaigns (bill-posting, TV, printed paper) and selections of the best photographers and top models. Gisele Bundchen (for Calzedonia) and Irina Skayk (for Intimissimi) are two of the models that these brands launched into the fashion system.
Calzedonia UK have been growing rapidly with new stores in the UK group opening as the brand has been growing. As the global IT team are located in Verona, Italy it meant that IT and telecoms issues experienced by the UK part of the business were not being handled as efficiently as possible.
World Tech initially provided a consultant to undertake a site survey at the Calzedonia head office in Oxford Circus, London. After looking at the companies growth plans, current requirements and existing technology World Tech recommended a high speed leased line and VoIP solution to cater for their current employees and their future expansion plans. After a successfull implementation and Calzedonia UK recognising the benefits and service of the World Tech solution they approached us to see if we could offer further services to support their IT and telecoms infrastructure. World Tech now have a very close working relationship with Calzedonia and are responsible for the day to day running of their entire UK IT and telecoms infrastructre.
Calzedonia UK now have a UK partner who they can rely on to ensure that their IT and telecoms infrastructure is kept upto date, maintained on a day to day basis and keeping the stores open for business. Without World Tech's expertise Calzedonia UK would not be able to react or resolve issues in a timely manner costing the business thousands of pounds every time an incident occurs.
